Job Description
- Co-lead and co-manage all 1AP data governance activities and will have responsibility for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data and information assets - together with identified data custodians in AP.
- The position will drive, establish and ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework - broken down into federated levels - for data policies, standards and practices, both at the department and Business and Functional areas level, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business needs
- Point of escalation for data quality issues identified from data management systems, data quality activities, or audits
- Enable and engage data custodian, system owners, data owners, and business counterparts
- Stewardship of roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets
- Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, common data model, including authoritative systems, owners
- Regularly assess and report AP’s or BU’s data governance maturity levels versus data governance gaps in the roadmap
- Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise
- Gathers data to assist in decision making of senior management
- Assist direct supervisor in budget cycle and business reviews
- From time to time, takes on ad hoc projects assigned by direct supervisor
- Provides insights on trends and new ideas that will help IDT perform its function
- Create and implement strategy on data governance and data quality upskilling, capability, and awareness in the company
- Participate in system roll-out projects to ensure adherence to data quality and data governance, and reduce data quality related risks based on agreed framework
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- 3-5 years of Data Management, Data Governance
- Required high level of influencing, must have rolled-out DG process, or involved in policy creation and implementation
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Master’s Degree is a plus
- Above Average experience in Digital Transformation, Data Management, Data Governance
