Job Description
As a Senior Sales & Bizdev Agent under August 99’s Technology Divisions (Dojo, Oqulo, LaunchPad), you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our product reach and brand awareness. You will be responsible for managing leads, creating proposals, closing sales, and fostering client relations. Collaborating closely with the Marketing department, you will ensure a consistent pipeline of warm leads and achieve sales and profitability goals monthly and quarterly. Your mission is to create opportunities for our technology divisions through new partnerships and upsell opportunities. We are seeking an organized, energetic, and self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for the startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through proactive business development activities, thoroughly follow up, and qualify prospects – with an active focus on North America and Oceania areas.
- Nurture, pitch, negotiate, close, and onboard potential clients, partners, and entrepreneurs for our technology-related services and products.
- Deliver strategic sales presentations, prepare and present proposals, and manage contract negotiations.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas for each product line and report on sales and advertising activity to the CTO and Division Head.
- Create and execute effective marketing campaigns and events with the Marketing department to increase sales and market awareness.
- Build and grow a network of business-relevant partners, identifying potential strategic partnerships.
- Provide outstanding customer service, promptly respond to inquiries, and resolve client concerns.
- Coordinate with Accounting on accurate reports of accounts receivable upon closing deals.
- Drive channel partner activity, support, and manage performance within the sales territory.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders in Operations, IT, HR, Accounting, and Legal departments on behalf of client partners.
- Stay updated on industry knowledge and competition, and adapt sales presentations and marketing efforts accordingly.
- Support core business processes, including sales performance reviews, planning, forecasting, and lead analytics reporting.
- Engage resources from different divisions and communicate clearly based on business objectives.
- Contribute to developing sales and organizational marketing plans, strategies, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, marketing, or business development. Proven experience in closing US and Oceania leads is a huge plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are both clear and concise.
- Proven experience in meeting/exceeding sales targets and effectively managing customer relationships.
- Dedicated to providing consistent and excellent customer service.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience selling Software and Website Development, Design, Virtual Assistance, and Outsourcing services is a plus.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional organizational and adaptable multitasking skills.
- Strong desire for continuous improvement, growth, and change.
