Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all the Subacute HMO (Health Maintenance) authorizations for residents of a Skilled Nursing Facility who are enrolled in a Managed Medicaid/Medicare Plan / Commercial Plan.
- Sends regular clinical updates for all payers and maintains legible documentation.
- Coordinate with Facilities to obtain necessary documentations.
- Strong clerical/administrative skills including personal computer skills (Cloud-based applications, MS Office, Adobe, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop and sustain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders - clinical and professional colleagues.

- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal Skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Cloud-based applications, MS Office, Adobe, etc.
- Has the ability to prepare reports and submit them on a given schedule
