Job Description

Key Accountability Areas

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
  • monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
  • addressing staff or client concerns through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone to help resolve issues;
  • troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
  • replacing parts as required;
  • providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
  • following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
  • responding to requests or incidents within agreed time limits;
  • working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
  • prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;
  • rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as infrastructure team;
  • testing and evaluating new technology when required;

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Minimum Number of Years in Work Experience

  • Preferably 1-4 years experienced employee specializing in Technical & Helpdesk Support or equivalent.

Certification

  • CCNA and/or MCP is preferable.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Has a good memory of how software and operating systems work
  • Up to date technical knowledge
  • Possess the ability to think logically, and has good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Has excellent listening and questioning skills; combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to find out the problem and explain the solution.
  • Possess strong customer focus
  • Prioritizes his/her workload and has attention to detail
  • Can work well in a team
  • Required language(s): English, Filipino

Qualities

  • Friendly presence with helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
  • Enthusiastic, organized, and has the ability to show a sense of urgency and will do what it takes to complete assigned tasks including working a longer shift with little or no notice.
  • Willing to work onsite
  • Available to attend onsite interview
  • Able to work on rotating shifts.
