Job Description
- Design and implement IT security systems that will protect the organization’s computer networks from cyber attacks.
- Keep the company's security systems up to date, install security software and carry-out vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Identify and correct flaws in the organization’s security systems, solutions, and programs, while recommending specific measures that can improve the company’s overall security posture.
- Monitor, respond, contain and document all security issues or breaches, perform root-cause analysis, as needed, and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for all systems and programs prior to production go live
- Proactively perform threat hunting to identify undetected security events
- Set-up and manage all accounts (i.e. user accounts, service accounts, api keys, etc) and permissions to consent access to the company’s network and application systems, in accordance with their roles/responsibilities/uses
- Generate reports to evaluate the efficacy of the security policies and controls in place
- Document policies, procedures and knowledge base and ensure that they are adhered to
- Create training or awareness programs and modules to educate employees and users on proper security protocols.
- Verify the security of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to meet security requirements
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or any related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Information Security, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing, Patch Management, Malware handling, Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- Experience working with security operations, XDR and Zero Trust Access platforms
- Knowledgeable in cloud security, access control, firewalls, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and security frameworks and standards
