Digital Copywriter  

Job Description

The Digital Copywriter operates at a level well above your typical copywriter. They’re master wordsmiths that use words to craft a wide variety of content including social media posts, client-specific presentations, or punchy copy to go with an Instagram photo. They’re impeccable communicators who understand their audience and use words to engage customers and create memorable experiences. They can see things from the customer’s perspective and find a common ground through which to help clients reach out to and inspire brand advocates.

This is a work-from-home position for the duration of the pandemic. We have no immediate plans of asking the team to report to the office at least until the end of 2022.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and engaging content for various mediums including primarily social media but including email marketing and campaign microsite copy.
• Mapping out content plans for campaigns or other thematic content
• Research customer trends and use industry analysis to better understand customer behavior in order to tailor new content creation.
• Utilizes social network analysis tools and analyzes results to identify patterns and other insights on consumer behavior

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience preferred, specifically in a digital copywriting role or social media marketing/management role
• Applicants with journalism, publishing, advertising or digital agency background are preferred

Skills

• Strong creativity and MAD copywriting skills. And when we say MAD, we mean impeccable grammar and syntax with a flair for what's in the now
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Great research skills and an appreciation for data analysis and analytics
• Some knowledge of graphic design and/or videography preferred
• Organizational skills
• Proficient in the use of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides

• Attention to detail and process-driven to ensure completion of all tasks quickly and on time
