Job Description

How you will contribute:

1. Operations Management

  • Plan and allocate resources for new engagements
  • Manage and monitor operating and service delivery systems to ensure smooth implementation and execution of client scope and engagements
  • Conduct client onboarding session
  • Ensure that the client’s tax returns, reports, and correspondents are prepared and presented in accordance with tax rulings and regulations
  • Ensure that the client’s financial statements are prepared and presented in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and include reporting on tax disclosures
  • Monitor project completion and update the corresponding billing to the client; Assist in collections
  • Make good judgments, deliver the timely perception of root causes, and provide effective solutions to issues encountered (IIAAs)
  • Attend internal Operations Committee meetings and present required dashboards/reports
  • Prepare talent and loading capacity per account
  • Monitor productivity by ensuring that client loading of team members is within targets
  • Identify the team's strengths and weaknesses/challenges in service delivery, and lead the improvement process in service delivery
  • Maintain a smooth communication protocol with the team and client
  • Review the use of appropriate applications or tax technologies in the execution of the delivery system and monitor issues and concerns for continuous improvement and efficiency
  • Review and analyze client's compliance and financial reports in compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
  • Review the client's compliance/tax plans
  • Communicate to the management committee/Board of Directors updates/results of the project

2. People Management

  • Oversee the work of the Team and ensure that client engagements follow the prescribed service quality
  • Supervise and review the work of the Team Leader/s
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Prepare monthly individual performance goals for the Team and Communicate consistently and timely with concerned talents
  • Review the monthly individual performance goals for the Senior Tax Analysts (STAs) and Tax Analysts (TAs) prepared by the Team Leaders
  • Review monthly scorecards of the team; Set individual performance goals
  • Ensure accomplishment and timely submission of quarterly Performance Evaluations of all members of the Teams as set by the Human Resources Department
  • Lead hiring of talents for the practice unit; Submit Job Order Form to HRD and conduct interviews
  • Lead, manage, and monitor the onboarding of new talents
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor the development plans of self and team members
  • Effectively Communicate goals and sets clear expectations with the Team Members
  • Review and analyses actual time charges (Freedcamp) of team members and compares with the Bill of Activities
  • (BOA) or budgeted time. And documents resolutions to significant findings noted.
  • Review and approve the timesheet of Team Leaders
  • Lead, manage, and monitor the off-boarding of resigning talents
  • Conducts staff technical training
  • Partners with HRD for implementation and execution of employee engagement activities

3. Account/Client Management

  • Ensure understanding and completeness of Client onboarding activities
  • Ensure that Service Level Agreements or SLA/deliverables with client-partners are met timely.
  • Ensure proper and timely implementation and execution of Agreed Upon Procedures with clients
  • Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting and deadlines are properly and clearly defined with the
  • team members and Infinnum team as well as with clients to ensure timely and accurate preparation of Financial and Tax Reports
  • Review monthly, and quarterly financial and tax accounting reports/dashboards before submission to client-partners
  • Leads account meetings with clients - tax and compliance reports and related analysis, if needed
  • Develop good working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Build trust with clients and effectively identify key opportunity areas that improve customer experience
  • Report and present to the clients’ ManCom, ExeCom, and Board meetings, if included in service engagement activities
  • Attend to clients’ concerns and Inquiries
  • Monitor and ensure timely collection of engagement fees based on the contract
  • Follow up collections for delayed payments by clients
  • Review and evaluates monthly performance metrics set in the engagement contract and communicate
  • consistently and timely with client-partner
  • Fill up the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) with the client
  • Liaises and discusses with the BIR regarding the client's BIR audit, if included in service engagement activities
  • Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
  • Facilitates account, management, and operations meetings with the client, internal team, and external partners
  • Leads and participates in internal account meetings on service deliverables.
  • Participates in strategic planning activities, if included in the service engagement activities

4. Engagement Management

  • Attend meetings with prospective clients and Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoM)
  • Prepare the Bill of Activities (BOA) based on the engagement meeting with prospective clients
  • Prepare and facilitate the signing of engagement proposals

5. Business/Financial Management

  • Review and monitor accounts’ profitability and the team's productivity on a monthly basis based on the set targets as documented in the Bill of Activities (BOA)
  • Monitor collection of service engagement fees and follow up delayed payments, if necessary

  • Manage Annual Revenue of P15,000,000 to P20,000,000.
  • Acquire, plan, coordinate, and monitor client services from other practice units to ensure engagement and/or project success

6. Others

  • Recommend improvements to the existing internal practices and procedures
  • Identify and recommend updates to tax accounting processes and procedures
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate head

Location/Hybrid Set Up

  • Work from the office in Ortigas, Pasig – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Work from home – Monday, Friday
  • Client visits – a total of 2-5 days per month (scheduled in advance)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or related business program
  • Certified Public Accountant is a plus, but not required
  • 6-10 years of experience in tax accounting and financial reporting; with at least 2-5 years in a managerial role
  • Knowledgeable in compliance with government requirements and in all accounting facets
  • Exposed to different industries and clients
  • Exposed to handling and managing multiple client engagements, a plus
  • Open to hybrid work environment
