Jr. Software Engineer  

As a software Developer you are responsible to write server-side web application logic in Ruby, around the framework Rails. Develops back-end components, connect the application with the other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
• Integration of data storage solutions.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
• Collaborate in a team and contribute ideas during discussions.

What we seek:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Highly motivated and passionate software engineer with experience in web application development.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with people who have diverse personalities.
• Flexible enough to respond to new and challenging environments
• Attitude of actively accepting feedback and taking it seriously to improve.

Nice to have:

• Interest to learn and practice Ruby on Rails.

Main tools used for development:

• Web server-side: Ruby on Rails, Go, Node.js
• Web front-end: React, Redux, Babel, Webpack, Flowtype, vite.js, react-hooks.
• Database: MySQL, Redis.
• Infrastructure: AWS （ELB, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, ElastiCache, Redshift, …), Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, CircleCI, Fluentd, Ansible, HashiCorp Tools, Elasticsearch ＋ Kibana, Google BigQuery, Embulk.
