Under the leadership of and reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Director, the Graphic Designer will handle a variety of different projects for the internal marketing activities. These activities may range from routine maintenance of existing assets or design fork for a different digital content marketing platform.
As a Graphic Designer/Digital Illustrator, he/she expected to join our team of innovative designers who are consistently raising the bar on creativity and user experiences. As a consultant, she is expected to showcase design and technical expertise. She’ll be working alongside a team and/or independently in the creation, maintenance, and updates of marketing platforms for M2.0 and its affiliated companies. Proficiency in design and program applications are essential to succeeding in this role.
The Graphic Designer/Digital Illustrator, as part of the marketing team, is expected to uphold M2.0’s and its affiliated companies’ brand and design standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Usually working on different design projects, the task assigned to the Graphic Designer/Digital Illustrator includes the following:
- Create layouts for case studies
- Perform regular file backups to local directories for recovery
- Design for layouts for blogs or mass mailing campaigns
- Participation in tactical and strategic development projects.
- Develop marketing collaterals such as social cards, website assets, pitch decks, and/or infographics
- Create wireframes for web pages and email templates
- Work quickly and carefully to complete major projects and small edits requested by other departments develop plans for completing larger projects, collaborate with colleagues, and suggest new solutions to
- Virtually meet regularly with business units that the marketing team works with and other stakeholders in the company to understand the business and to refine the design and functional requirements of the website based on the needs for the company’s growth.
Responsibilities and Expected Behavior
- Meet deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work output
- Show preparedness to redesign and revise the work following feedback
- Encourage and act upon critical feedback in the most appropriate manner
- Welcome coaching from the marketing and the design team as a whole
- Develop mastery on a design by continuously seeking ways on improving work
- Consult and follow the advice from the Creative Director on design related revisions
- Maintain an active interest in the communications, design, and storytelling practice as a whole
- Participate actively in team activities like learning groups, meetings, brainstorming, and story conferences
- Coordinate and collaborate with the marketing manager, the other writers, and the design team to complete content development
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Communication Arts, Advertising or any related courses
- 1-2 years experience in design work is a plus
