Job Description

The Internal Auditor - CPA is responsible for performing independent and objective evaluations of the company's financial and operational systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

This involves conducting audits, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance the organization's internal controls and governance processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement audit plans based on risk assessments and company priorities.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, operations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and the reliability of financial reporting.
  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and improvements to existing processes.
  • Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
  • Analyze financial data and systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and continuous auditing techniques is a plus.
  • Experience in conducting financial, operational, risk management and compliance audits.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
  • Willing to work on a Hybrid Work Setup
