The opportunity:
We’re looking for a Media Buying Project Manager to join our growing global team and help us build a Global Performance Marketing Shared Service Center of Excellence (CoE). You’ll be reporting to the Media Hub Team Lead and be responsible for managing media buying projects, ensuring clear workflows amongst the various in-house media team members, and keeping everyone updated through our centralized project management tool.
The function brings together Marketing Technology (Martech) and Demand Generation (Demand Gen)–a comprehensive, full-funnel approach designed to drive tailored customer journeys powered by connected data, that when integrated raises brand awareness, drives quality traffic, generates leads, secures sales, and fosters brand loyalty—positioning us as a digital customer leader.
Key responsibilities:
● Closely manage assigned campaigns on a day-to-day basis to drive campaign deliverables, desired outcomes, and remove barriers
● Coordinate campaign intakes, triages, plannings, executions, and campaign launch activities
● Build project plans outlining timelines and manage the progress of deliverables within the centralized project management tool
● Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
● Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
● Ensure that team members are meeting the campaign deadlines
● Consolidate tracking of campaign processes and team structures to ensure transparency across all senior regional stakeholders
● Provide training to team members to help them work in an Agile fashion
● Ensure global teams and stakeholders have access and provide transparency into the campaign milestone deliverables
● Ensure capacity planning across all team members is managed effectively
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications and experience required
● At least 5 years of experience working within a digital marketing environment, either on media agency or client-side
○ Experience working for or in financial services is preferred
●Experience in Agile project management with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience leading Agile projects in a marketing context
●Strong experience with digital media campaigns and knowledge of the different components of a media campaign from media planning to the campaign set up and launch
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related fields of study
●Proven track record of leading complex media buying projects with large budgets
●Understanding of the agile approach to project management and its importance in delivering results using a shorter feedback loop to manage risks effectively
●Strong verbal and written communication skills
●Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
●Ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns in parallel without losing sight of the overall picture
●Experience working with dynamic teams and within different media platforms
●Strong written and verbal English skills
