Job Description

Job Summary

Assist HR and Manager in supervising the Human Resources Department which include; Recruitment, Manpower Planning, Employee Relations, Training & Organizational Development, HR Policy Formulation, Compensation & Benefits Administration, implementation of company security policies and other employee related services. All its initiatives are in line with company philosophies and will contribute to the achievement of over-all company goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collaborates with Department Mangers regarding updating of employee job descriptions on a regular basis. Assists Department Managers in the preparation of job description for new positions and recommended new organizational structure

2. Maintains and updates Organizational Charts annually or need arises especially when there are changes in manpower headcount.

3. Regularly updates Employee Master List.

4. Monitors and coordinates employee compliance on company rules, policies, procedures and HR systems to avoid employee relations problems, supervises Plant HR Officers in updating Monthly NTE and DA Monitoring.

5. Assists immediate superior in handling employee concerns particularly grievance and disciplinary processes. Evaluates disciplinary matters, counsels parties and prepares accurate documentation on the issues.

6. Assists immediate superior in the preparations of Legal and HR related documents in labor cases, DOLE inspection and other government compliance

7. Recommends, implements and facilitates employee’s activities and/or event.

8. Assists the immediate superior in the preparation of budget proposal for the company’s yearly activities (i.e. Christmas Party, excursion, sports tournament etc., ISO certifications and keeps HR programs within approved budget.

9. Provides accurate and timely support in the organization's restructuring or re-engineering requirements.

10. Spearheads the processing of employee benefits both government’s mandated (SSS, Pagibig, Philhealth) and company initiated.

11. Effectively coordinates with health care providers including off-setting and payments processes, new enrollment and/or membership cancelation and other employee's requirements related to their health care benefits

12. Facilitates and coordinates Annual Physical Examination of all covered employees.

13. Consolidates semi-annual Performance Evaluation results of all employees and prepares Performance Evaluation Report for Annual Merit Increase computation

14. Monitors employment status of all newly hired employees including preparation and administration of performance appraisal schedules and processing of employee's regulation documents, Oversees proper maintenance and timely update of 201 Files, HR files and records.

15. Prepares, analyzes and submits monthly Labor Turnover Rate.

16. Counter-checks Attendance Monitoring Report to confirm accuracy of the ratings prior to release to different department.

17. Monitors recruiters’ efficiency specifically on manpower complement, manpower movement and requests for additional manpower.

18. Performs other duties that maybe assigned by immediate superior.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy or any related courses
  • With at least 5 years experience in similar capacity, preferably in a manufacturing set-up
  • With knowledge in Labor Laws
  • Keen to details and has good communication skills
  • With good interpersonal relationship

About Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation | Multiplast Corporation

From humble beginnings as a small styrofoam manufacturer in West Riverside, Quezon City over 40 years ago, QC Styropackaging Corporation has become a diversified and one of the largest food and industrial styrofoam manufacturer in the Philippines. The company produced its first styrofoam products in 1974, utilizing few machines, primarily intended for industrial Styrofoam packaging requirements. QCSC soon became a major player in the Luzon Market and experienced continuous growth. In 1981, the company was ready to venture into the Philippine market and globally. This was accomplished by transferring to a five hectare plant in Sta. Maria Bulacan. Employing professional managers and staffs to run the plant and its Sales Department. Strengthen marketing strategies and distributorship. These efforts were met with very satisfying success. The next milestone for QCSC came in 1991. This is when the management decided to open an affiliated company - Multiplast Corporation a manufacturer of plastic disposable cups and trays. QCSC & MC were truly unknown commodity in the Philippine Islands. This situation was changed dramatically in the next few years. In 1998, there was a cause for celebration when QCSC received the prestigious ISO 9002 designation from the International Organization for Standardization for superior manufacturing practices. Likewise, Multiplast Corporation received its ISO 9001: 2000 in 2004. Up to this day, QCSC and MC has lived with its MISSION, VISION AND VALUES.
