Job Description
Service Maintenance
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting for client accounts per services defined in the maintenance contract. Specifically;
-Responds to requests and inquiries of client accounts with regard to their need for technical assistance
-Ensures that the services stated in the contract are satisfied at all times to include but not limited to the state response and resolution time
-In case of on-site assignments, coordinates closely with the department and other concerned group with regard to step-by-step status of the job
-Provides troubleshooting tips and guidelines over the phone as solicited by client accounts.
Preventive Maintenance
• Performs procedures on preventive maintenance on units/machines of client accounts covered by service contracts as scheduled.
Reports Preparation
• Prepare required reports and submits these accordingly with regard to service and preventive maintenance tasks undertaken. Specifically
-Accomplishes the Job Action Report and submits this to client and Questronix;
Technical Support for Pre-sales Projects
• Provides technical assistance to clients in collaboration with Pre-Sales Group by assisting in project planning and installation. Specifically,
-Identifies technical and electrical requirements to ensure completion of a specific project
-Verifies and recommends if a specifications of a given technical environment of a proposed project are met
-Undertakes actual installation and configuration of machines which as for demonstrations as well as those that have been sold
-Undertakes procedures on accounts for Hardware and Software upgrading
Troubleshooting and Support
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Liaise with vendors, and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Provide the client with a step-by-step procedure of the troubleshooting steps
• Ensure configurations and data backup of services and implement recovery from disaster.
Minimum Qualifications

BS Electronics Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, BS Information Technology, any other course related to IT
-
- Proficient in handling HP and DELL Hardware (more than 2 years experience)
- With experience in LINUX, Microsoft Windows, or any other OS running on HP and DELL servers
- Technically equipped to perform an in-depth troubleshooting related on HP and DELL servers
- Able to communicate well in both English and Filipino languages
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good presentation skills would be an advantage
- Knowledge in VMWare and Network would be an advantage
- Certifications related to HP and DELL Systems Administration would be an advantage -
