Automotive Fitment QA Specialist  

The mission of our partner company is to connect the world’s parts and build the first global
platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts.

The company is looking for someone to do quality assurance of the results from their data models, where it is predicting two parts that are interchangeable. All information needed is provided in a spreadsheet, and a well-defined process to do the research and confirm that the prediction is correct.

Responsibilities

• You will be going through a number of rows, where each row is a set of two parts, and seeing that they both are interchangeable (i.e. either could fit in the same vehicle).
• To verify that these are correct will involve searching the internet and doing some research.
• For each prediction, you will label if it is correct, incorrect, or inconclusive.
• You will work directly with members of our data science and cataloging teams.

• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or related experience in automotive parts sales or customer service
• Proficiency in parts management and understands automobile mechanical and electronic functions
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Fluent communication in English
• Flexibility to adapt to multiple different tasks
• High efficiency in manual work
• Sense of responsibility to perform tasks efficiently in a remote work environment
