Medical Observer Philippines was founded in 1991. It was one of the medical publishing pioneers in the country. It was initially run by Mosman Communications, until its rights were transferred to Mosman NewMedia, Inc. in 2013. It has once again pioneered digital medical publishing when it re-launched its platforms online last year. Mosman NewMedia, Inc., is a small enterprise that runs Medical Observer. The majority stakeholder of the company is the Fetalino Family, owning 70% of the enterprise. Before 2013, Medical Observer only does publishing for doctors and other healthcare professionals, but after it opened up online, it has catered to a bigger audience and made its information available for the general public. Throughout its more than 2 decades of operation, it was able to establish and maintain a great relationship with medical societies, health agencies, and pharmaceutical companies locally and abroad.
