Retail IndustryTentang The Happy Project
The Happy Project is a retail specialty brand that carries multi-purpose products with printed words of happiness and positivity.
The idea all started when two cousins, Malen and Patrick, started to travel the world in search for happiness through new sights and experiences. Being the organized traveller that they are, they found ease and comfort organizing their luggages and travel documents with packing organizers and pouches. This gave birth to the first product line of The Happy Project, the “Happy Pouches”.
With a mission to be able to uplift, encourage and inspire people who are also in search for happiness, the cousins thought of combining encouraging and positive statements with basic organizers, which then makes a perfect “happy pouch”. These designs reflect wisdom and values that uplifts their spirits as individuals and finds them worth sharing.
The cousins believe that building The Happy Project is their share of helping others make a difference by spreading good cheers through its products.
We aspire for a community where nobody gets left behind.
The Happy Project works hand in hand with the differently-abled members of our community with a goal to fully integrate them as members of our society. This is being done by providing leadership training, personality development, empowerment and equal employment opportunities.
In partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s National Vocational and Rehabilitation Center (DSWD - NVRC), each product of The Happy Project is skillfully crafted by the deaf and mute, designs printed by the cripple, and being sold at our stores by our orthopedically impaired sales officers. This partnership with the DSWD-NVRC has allowed The Happy Project to continuously create endless opportunities to its growing pool of differently-abled officers, and more than anything, has provided a bigger vision for their lives.
