Reports directly to the Head of Marketing Communications
Filters all data/content based on importance, feasibility, and effectiveness to the specific audience involved
Assists in putting together content for the company's generally preferred communication channels
Reviews content for proper punctuation, usage, and syntax
Creates and/or updates in-house style rules; fine-tuning structure, tone, and voice; and ensures clarity, coherence, and logical flow and consistency in words, typography, art, and style
Writes content for both print and digital channels of the company
Actively participates in promo and campaign creation
Controls and counter-checks the validity of related literature from outside the Network
Coordinates with superiors for approval of output

Duties and Responsibilities

Acts as a Managing Editor for the Company Magazine
Engages in brainstorming for each issue’s content line-up
Proofreads text and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
Verifies factual correctness of the information, such as dates and statistics
Checks text for style, readability, and adherence to editorial policies
Arranges page layouts of photos, articles, and advertisements
Rewrites text to improve clarity and readability
Writes content for the company's publication
Researches using books and online learning tools, liaises with leaders and conducts interviews to gather material for assigned articles
Manages Content for the Company Website
Oversees content that goes in the company's websites
Liaises with local leaders regarding event reports and photos
Checks text to ensure it is well written, logically structured and in the right style for the intended audience
Participates in creating content calendar for the various websites of the company
Assists in both Internal and External Marketing Communication matters
Participates in brainstorming for marketing strategies to be applied in the company's marketing collaterals (i.e Promos and Campaigns)
Supplies and oversees material for marketing requests, such as copies/taglines for events, announcements, promotions, certificates and letters
Writes blurbs, ledes, headlines, and straplines
Assists in ideation and creation of promos

Social Media Sites

When required, he/she provides support to the Social Media team by providing copies with clarity, flow and structure
Writes additional Reports and Reviews
Recommends Improvements in the Division/Department's processes
Performs other Duties that may be assigned
