CANDY MIX PLUS, INC

The business of selling candies by weight was discovered by an enterprising couple during a trip to the United States. The founders were able to realise the universal truth about sweets: its ability to please and satisfy no matter its flavour, shape and size, leading customers of all ages to flock candy shops all over the world. On February 1996, the first Candy Mix branch was opened in Metropolis Alabang, becoming the first retail confectionery store in the Philippines. After a year of operations, the business venture proved to be a disappointment. However, it did not stop the couple to give up that easily. Armed with strong faith and a passion for their work, the owners, along with the men and women who helped to build the company dedicated themselves to the goal of becoming a leading confectionery retail & wholesale company in the country. By 1998, Candy Mix outlets opened in major malls in Metro Manila. In 2002, Candy Mix opened its doors to franchising, allowing young and aspiring entrepreneurs to share in the company’s story of sweet success. That same year saw the debut of the official company mascot, "Gummy the Bear." Soon after, Candy Mix opened its first branches outside of Metro Manila, another industry-pioneering effort.
