Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Operations Manager to lead our early-stage SaaS sales team. As a player-coach, you will manage a diverse group of salespeople, guiding them to advance leads beyond the demo stage to initial closes and fostering long-term partnerships with our partners. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team's success and achieving our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Coach: Manage, mentor, and develop a remote sales team of various experience levels, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Drive Results: Implement strategies and processes to advance leads from demo stages to first closes, ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and effective progression of leads and opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Sales Training: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the team's skills in lead conversion, closing deals, and building lasting partnerships.
- Collaboration: Facilitate strong collaboration within the sales team and across other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners and end-users, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product positioning.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Excellent oral and written English skills.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and assist the sales team in closing business.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and metrics.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage remote teams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex sales data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to develop and implement sales processes and strategies.
Technical Proficiency:
- Experience with sales automation and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and remote management solutions.
- Basic understanding of IP technology, video surveillance systems and access control
Leadership and Management:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving performance and achieving targets.
- Experience in developing and delivering sales training programs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Adaptable and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely and manage a distributed team effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, conferences, maybe once a year.
