Aircraft Quality Inspector  

The Aircraft Quality Inspector (AQI) at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance processes, including pre-maintenance, during maintenance, and post-maintenance activities. This role focuses on executing a quality control program to uphold the serviceability and airworthiness of aircraft, engines, and components in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct aircraft inspections to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Review and validate maintenance work packages to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Perform Return to Service (RTS) evaluations to certify aircraft readiness for operation.
• Inspect, monitor, supervise, and control aircraft maintenance activities to adhere to established protocols.
• Promote adherence to safety and quality standards as mandated by authorities, customers, and GMF.
• Foster standard performance compliance among maintenance personnel, cultivating a commitment to safety and quality excellence.

• Bachelor’s Degree (D4/S1) in Aerospace or a technical-related field.
• AMEL holder for A320, A330-800/900 (EA), B777, B747, and any Aircraft Type.
• More than 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years as an AMEL holder for the related aircraft type.
• Possession of Engine Run-Up Authorization is preferred.
• English proficiency test scores from an official institution (the test certificate is valid for up to 2 years from the test date) with minimum scores of TOEIC 600, TOEFL ITP 478, or IELTS 5.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and standards.
• Expertise in using specialized tools and equipment, interpreting technical data, and conducting inspections in accordance with maintenance guidelines and aviation safety regulations.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, wiring diagrams, component manuals, navigation systems, and communication equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of Aircraft Systems and their operational requirements.
• Ability to perform supervision effectively and work efficiently in a shift-based environment.
• Proficiency in Quality Control and Inspection Processes.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities to assess processes and recommend improvements.
