Remote Industrial Designer  

Collaborate with the Industrial Design (ID) team to create innovative 3D product concepts that align with the company’s design philosophy and market trends.
• Develop detailed 3D models and illustrations that effectively communicate design intent and product functionality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure that conceptual designs can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Assist in the development of product design specifications, including material selection, surface finish, and color, to enhance product aesthetics and user experience.
• Provide input on design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) to ensure products can be mass-produced without compromising design integrity.
• Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to translate 3D concepts into functional products, ensuring that all designs meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including design files, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical drawings.
• Participate in prototype testing and validation, providing design input to resolve any issues that arise and ensure products meet design specifications.
• Continuously research and stay updated on new materials, technologies, and design trends to improve product designs and processes.
• Support the resolution of production-related issues by providing design modifications and technical expertise to optimize the manufacturing process.

• Associate degree or higher, with a major in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Strong ability to conceptualize and illustrate 3D product designs.
• Proficiency in creating detailed design specifications and visual representations using advanced 3D modeling software.
• Experience in the conceptualization and design of 3C products, with a focus on enhancing user experience and product aesthetics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including injection molding, die casting, and surface treatment, with an emphasis on optimizing these processes for product design.
• High analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for design aesthetics and functionality.
• Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender, Keyshot, and other 3D illustration software.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the product development and manufacturing departments.
• 3 years or more of experience in industrial design with a focus on 3D product conceptualization and illustration.
• Willingness to relocate to China to work closely with the product team and manufacturers, ensuring seamless collaboration and design execution.
