- Obtain knowledge and understanding of client's business;
- Engaged in financial statement preparation, including supporting workpapers, of alternative investment companies (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds) with simple to medium complexity structure;
- Conduct research and read pronouncements and illustrative financial statements provided by external auditors that are relevant to the fund;
- Communicate with manager in-charge for client-related matters;
- May be asked to communicate/liase directly with external stakeholders such as investment managers, fund administrators and external auditors from the preparation to issuance of financial statements;
- May be asked to attend internal client meetings, meetings with the auditors and other meetings relevant to the financial statements preparation
- Perform general accounting, bookkeeping and reporting for selected clients.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Certified Public Accountant;
- With at least 1 year audit experience (experience with Big 4 is a plus);
- Exposure with IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting;
- Relevant exposure with financial services and/or asset and wealth management accounting and reporting is a plus;
- Keen to accuracy and details;
- Proficient in using MS Office applications;
- Knowledge in using QuickBooks is a plus;
- Ability to work enthusiastically with a team;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
