Financial Accounting Supervisor  

The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with preparation and submission of financial statements including tax payables, commission, brokers and related reports.

• Checks, monitors and control accounts payable (Claims, Commissions, Operational expenses)
• Review and ensure compliance with regulatory reports (BIR payments, IC reportorial requirements)
• Preparation of reports and subsidiary schedule & reconciliation with recon items booked the following month
• Handles other tasks such as financial reporting, approval and decision making in the absence of the Chief Finance Officer
• Respond to queries and resolve issues/concerns relating to Financial Accounting
• Approves , verifies, and handles cancellation of payment voucher in the absence of AVP
• Maintain accurate records and handles other administrative tasks
• Involved in FPG Budget planning, reporting based on the submitted reports of Marketing Department
• Monitoring of financial analysts' tasks
• Manage relationships/agreements with customers, internal and external
• Respond to escalated queries/concerns from customers, internal and external
• Communicate with customers, other parties on sensitive matters in a timely and effective manner
• Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals

• Bachelor's degree holder. Preferably graduate of BS Accountancy.
• Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• With 2-3 years of experience in Financial Accounting
• With 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory position
• Preferably with experience in Banking and/or Insurance Industries.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
• Self-motivated with willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems
• Possess dynamic personality and able to deal with all levels in the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive and has sense of urgency
