Area Sales Manager  

Job Summary: The Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance and management of multiple fashion retail stores within a specified geographic area. They must ensure that all stores meet sales goals, deliver exceptional customer service, adhere to company policies and procedures, and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Performance Management:
   • Set and communicate each store's sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations.
   • Monitor and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
   • Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and profitability.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
   • Recruited, trained, and developed store managers and staff.
   • Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback to store teams.
   • Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
3. Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
   • Ensure that stores are well-maintained, clean, and organized.
   • Oversee visual merchandising to create an appealing and on-brand store environment.
   • Implement planograms and visual displays as needed.
4. Inventory Management:
   • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that each store has adequate stock.
   • Coordinate stock transfers between stores to optimize inventory allocation.
   • Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage.
5. Operational Efficiency:
   • Ensure that all stores adhere to company policies and procedures.
   • Implement cost-control measures to optimize operational expenses.
   • Address operational issues and resolve them promptly.
6. Customer Service and Satisfaction:
   • Maintain high levels of customer service by setting and enforcing customer service standards.
   • Address customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
   • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve the shopping experience.
7. Compliance and Reporting:
   • Ensure that stores comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
   • Prepare regular reports on store performance and key metrics.
   • Communicate performance updates to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in fashion retail management, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Knowledge of fashion trends and the retail industry.
• Willingness to travel within the designated area.
