Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development, UP Diliman

The UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development (OVCRD) aims to promote and enhance R&D undertakings by and in UP Diliman. It funds researches, and helps disseminate research outputs by UP Diliman faculty and researchers. It also assists University researchers and faculty in the protection, marketing, and licensing of their Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) through its IP and Technology Transfer Unit. IP and Technology Transfer are two disciplines that cut across all fields of sciences and arts. These are widely practiced worldwide, especially in developed countries. In the Philippines, IP and Technology Transfer are slowly gaining traction. In the University of the Philippines, a research university, you will have the chance to work in one of the technology transfer offices with the largest IP portfolios.
