Miêu Tả Về Công Việc

Application Engineer Assistant provides technical support and assistance to the Head of Repair Department and is also responsible for performing clerical functions such as filing, composing emails, printing documents and inventory of parts belonging to the department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive or pick up unit from clients and issue transmittal document with corresponding unit model, serial number and accessories included.
  • Assess units received for repair and take pictures of faulty part as proof to client.
  • Create a checklist of procedures for work to be done including parts to be replaced.
  • Provide an Assessment Summary Report to client that reflects company information, unit details, repair procedures, faults found, parts to be replaced, and picture proof of faulty.
  • Prepare proposal for client indicating labor and faulty parts.
  • Receive and review client's Purchase Order as against the provided repair quote.
  • Repair units and prepare necessary documents (Delivery Receipt, Repair Summary Report, Splice Test Report, Purchase Order)
  • Schedule the pickup or delivery of the repaired units.
  • Deliver unit to client and test upon request.
  • Follow up overdue repair payments.
  • Update all the parts used from time to time to ensure the inventory of the parts.
  • Generate the excel file to make list of low in stock parts to be replenished.
  • Receive mails, Invoice, SOA (Statement of Account) etc. and forward to respective recipients.
  • Attend to the needs and request of Superiors especially with regards to repair.
  • Monitor all units that are due for calibration.
  • Ensure software of all purchased units are updated to latest before the delivery schedule and put necessary stickers for warranty purposes.
  • Keep the repair documents complete, orderly and readily available when needed
  • Provide necessary documents of the repaired units to Finance Officer for Billing/Invoice issuance.
  • Printing and filing documents.
  • Composing emails.

Trình độ tối thiểu

  • Proficient in MS Office application
  • Willingness to learn, diagnose and resolve technical issues in case-to-case basis situations.
  • Client focused;
  • Ability to communicate
  • Can manage work time efficiently, timely and orderly.
  • Must be keen on details.
