AboitizPower

This position shall be responsible for ensuring the compliance of all project sites with the applicable forestry-related laws, including its implementing rules and regulations. He/She shall lead on forest management and conservation. This position shall spearhead the coordination with the foresters and forest rangers on a regular basis for the monitoring and reporting of all forestry-related matters, issues/concerns that may arise throughout the duration of the project. This position shall also liaise with the different government agencies for the sound implementation of forest management consistent with the national regulations and company objectives.

<ul>
	<li>Provide assistance and support to all forest-related requirements and compliances by the ARI-PDE.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
	<li>Report incidents to the concerned government agency, LGU, and the company.</li>
	<li>Create performance monitoring per project related to forestry-related laws, rules, and regulations, as well as ensuring that the projects are complying with them.</li>
	<li>Work hand in hand with the foresters and project-based forester (if any) and ensure compliance with the conditions of Tree-Cutting Permits and other government-issued tenurial instruments(i.e.,SLUP,FLAG,SAPA,etc.</li>
	<li>Act as a subject-matter expert for all forest-related management and monitoring.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with the Stakeholder Relationship Compliance Team in getting necessary documents such as SLUP, FLAG, EGGAR, Tree Cutting Permit, etc.</li>
	<li>Report forest-related statistics per project every month. Prepare and submit reports as required.</li>
	<li>Participate in the conduct of due diligence for potential projects.</li>
	<li>Facilitate and monitor the conduct of tree-inventory, tree-cutting, seedling replacement, tree-planting activities, payment of forest charges, and other impact management measures as may be required in the issued tree-cutting permits.</li>
	<li>Initiate and monitor the implementation of the projects and/or company-wide reforestation/tree-planting program in compliance with BOI requirements.</li>
	<li>Determine methods of cutting and removing timber with minimum waste and environmental damage and suggest methods of processing wood for various uses.</li>
	<li>Advise on the suppression of forest fires and conduct fire prevention programs.</li>
	<li>Assist in planning and implementing projects for the control of floods, soil erosion, tree diseases, and insect pests in forests.</li>
	<li>Generate spatial and geographical information maps, tables, charts, and reports needed for the management of forest-related requirements.</li>

The position holder is responsible for the establishment, implementation, assessment and continuous improvement of the Company’s organizational planning, performance and value delivery, and risk management framework to help the Company achieve its objectives, and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and protocols, including but not limited to external and internal communications, and confidentiality and security of corporate information. Considering a bird’s eye view of the Company, the position holder may also be asked to provide targeted support to and oversight over strategic initiatives, process and systems set up/transformation that address major gaps/opportunities related to the Company’s objectives.

Organizational Planning, Performance, and Operational Risk Management Governance

	<li>Researches, analyzes, and implements conceptual frameworks on operational planning, project portfolio, and performance management.</li>
	<li>Leads the identification and analysis of opportunities and gaps for the improvement and strengthening of the strategic management and risk maturity of the business unit.</li>

Organizational and Project Portfolio Performance Management:

	<li>Gathers CSU performance and conducts periodic qualified analysis of homogenous performance metrics for exception reporting.</li>
	<li>Leads the maintenance and improvement of the Enterprise Management System</li>
	<li>Designs, executes, and circulates the results of the Internal Customer Satisfaction Survey (ICSS)</li>

Operational and Project Risk Management

<ul>
	<li>Leads and facilitates operational and project risk assessments (identification, analysis, and evaluation, risk treatment planning) of ARI CSUs or project teams, as well as reviews and challenges risk owners and relevant parties to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of operational/project risk management plans.</li>
	<li>Gathers and analyzes operation and project risks, as well as foresee potential risks.</li>
	<li>Performs risk analysis and engages subject matter experts in validating the assessment and corresponding risk treatments of ARI. CSUs or project teams.</li>

Data Privacy:

	<li>Serves as the contact person and monitors ARI’s compliance with the Data Privacy Act.</li>
	<li>Reports to the AP Corporate DPO the compliance status with the Data Privacy Act as may be needed by internal and external requirements, but not less than once a year.</li>
