As an Industrial Engineering student intern, you will report to the Data Privacy Officers and/or the Technology Department Team Lead and work collaboratively with teams from various departments to;

<ul>
	<li>Learn and document existing policies, procedures, and processes;</li>
	<li>Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing processes by identifying gaps and recommending controls;</li>
	<li>Provide inputs to make processes simpler and more efficient; and</li>
	<li>Assist the DPOs in other duties not specifically mentioned above but which may be reasonably expected within the scope of work,

Key Objective:

Internal Audit is an independent appraisal function established within Healthy Options Corporation which mission is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Ensures that assigned brands’ stores are in compliance with relevant laws and established policies and procedures through performance of store audit (field work)</li>
	<li>Ensures that monthly transactions are in compliance with relevant laws and established policies and procedures through performance of transaction audit</li>
	<li>Evaluates and improves the brands’ risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively (by examining turnover counts, z-reports, operating practices and performing special audits (if any), etc.)</li>
	<li>Witnesses inventory counts and disposals</li>
	<li>Work as an objective source of advice to ensure validity and goal achievement</li>
	<li>Prepares concise and accurate audit reports that reflects audit result to effectively communicate recommendations for the brand’s internal controls and processes</li>
	<li>Identify opportunities for improving business processes based on audit results to minimize risks</li>
