FMIDC History

First Multi-Tech Industrial and Development Corporation (FMIDC) was established in 1993 as a trading company supplying a wide range of products, from refurbished aircraft seats to concrete and wooden poles. With the emergence of mobile telecommunications and power distribution in 1998, FMIDC began shifting its product line focus into Automatic Transfer Switches, Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors, Fire Rated Cables, and Generator Sets.

From a small-scale venture, FMIDC has expanded into an enterprise. It became the sole distributor of ASCO Power Technologies in the Philippines. Due to its active presence in the telco industry in 1996, the company developed and pioneered the Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (CPM) Program for Generator Sets and Airconditioning Systems. The range of services expanded in 2009, covering Telecommunication Works, Site Audit of the transmission system and repair
of the microwave, through Sel Telecom.

In 2015, FMIDC established FMIDC Maintenance and Services Inc. (FMS Inc.). Its mission is to provide facility maintenance and related services to various industries. In 2017, the company moved to its new office building and marked its growth by rebranding. To progress in the digital era, FMIDC became an official distributor of Schneider Electric Philippines and Vertiv’s DC Power Systems. 

With the company’s proven expertise and reliability, FMIDC is a reliable partner for telcos, utilities, contact centers, data centers, manufacturing, residential, and commercial establishments.

The company has already supplied and commissioned 7,000 ASCO Transfer Switches, some packaged with generators, and more than 12,000 ASCO Surge Protective Devices. FMS Inc. also maintained 6,000 cell sites, acquired a nationwide contract in the banking and financial institution industry, and is currently partnering with Common Tower Builders.

Position Summary: Responsible for the nationwide monitoring and quality checking of BAU/CM WORKS documentation.

 
Organizational Setting: 
Reports to : Supervisors

Coordinates with: Team, Manager, Supervisor

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Responsible for the nationwide monitoring and quality checking of BAU/CM WORKS documentation for ACU and Genset related services. 
2. Ensures 100% documentation monitoring of done BAU / CM works, provides weekly report, checks quality works. 
3. Records and update monitoring and assures 100% billing of services. 
4. Regular coordination with client and close coordination with supervisors and staff. 
5. Prepares project quotation through odoo and salesforce system. 
6. Assures 100% compliance of inputting all services to salesforce, odoo and BPI Maximo system. 
7. Support nationwide operations to achieve the 100% sales target. 
8. Reviewing of Electrical Plans and Relevant Documentation 
9. Making Cost Estimation of Materials and Labor for the Projects 
10. Prepares BOQ/BOM 
11. Coordinates with different Electrical Suppliers for canvassing of Materials. 
12. Prepare Electrical Plans (Schedule of Loads, Single Line Diagram, Riser Diagram)

Project Engineer

1. Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure that equipment and machines continue to run smoothly.

2. Inspects electrical panels, temperature, rectifiers, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.

3. Inspects and test equipment in order to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, or read work orders to determine required repairs.

4. Repairs and rebuilds defective mechanical parts in generators, air condition unit, and related equipment, using hand tools and power tools.

5. Delivers fuel on site for the maintained generators.

6. Performs other maintenance functions or as required by site special projects which was commissioned by the Operations Division.

7. Reports to maintenance engineer or supervisor site situations that need supervisorial actions or decision (those that are out of scope of the routine preventive maintenance).

8. Ensures that areas/sites of responsibility are well-maintained (i.e., housekeeping, grass cutting, etc.)

9. Performs testing of equipment prior to installation such as but not limited to load testing of generators.

10. Prepares daily and weekly report of PM activities.

Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Sr. Purchasing Manager, the Jr. Purchasing Manager under the Central Operations department shall oversee the daily purchasing activities and handle end-to-end procurement for Kitchen Operations-related requirements. This role will be managing a Purchasing Officer handling the same categories.

Main Duties

Bidding &amp; Materials Sourcing

<ul>
	<li>For the Trade category, focusing on Produce and Ice, he/she will be working closely with the Product Development team in testing new or alternative supply</li>
	<li>For Non-Trade, he/she must establish close coordination with the Kitchen Operations and Business Development teams regarding equipment specs to be bought and the timing of kitchen/retail openings</li>
	<li>Perform cost-benefit analysis on new materials tested and other items for sourcing</li>
	<li>Regularly review the baseline CAPEX for kitchen openings and find possible cost reductions through biddings and equipment/supplies sourcing</li>
</ul>

Contract Management

<ul>
	<li>Ensure all suppliers have signed and valid supply agreements</li>
	<li>Monitor all existing contracts and schedule review or renewal at least 2 months before expiry</li>
	<li>Update the contract template if there are significant changes in the process or terms agreed with suppliers</li>
</ul>

Supplier Performance Evaluation

<ul>
	<li>Lead the evaluation of Non-Trade, Produce, and Ice suppliers based on the supplier scorecard</li>
	<li>Monitor the performance of suppliers and initiate corrective actions based on the findings on the scorecard</li>
	<li>Convene quarterly with top and least performing suppliers</li>
</ul>
