The Retail Trading Specialist is responsible for the implementation and execution of the contracts of the Retail team through bilateral contract quantity (BCQ) declaration and processes that will minimize the cost of goods sold by the Retail Team. The role is also responsible for creating incremental value through proper allocation, declaration, and optimization of the supply contracts of Retail with its own suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or any 4-year business course
- At least 2 years of experience in the power industry, preferably in energy trading or financial planning and analysis.
- Knowledge of financial modeling, gross margin analysis modeling, and financial risk modeling
- Knowledge of WESM, client business processes, and business operations of trading counterparties
- Analytical skills in terms of competitive market behavior for purposes of offering in the market
- Knowledge of market data and competitive offers in the market
- Knowledge of computer systems (especially programs which require numerical proficiency)
