The Quezon City Polytechnic was created on March 1, 1994 by virtue of the City Council Ordinance No. SP-171 an institution to primarily undertake the training and development of qualified technicians and skilled workers.

The Three-Year Technician Curriculum was introduced in the SY 1994-1995 designed to develop highly competent technicians for industry in the areas of Automotive Technology, Electrical Technology, Welding Technology, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology, and Fashion Technology. Its sister company, Loft Spaces, provides business services. This role will help businesses and startups register, operate, and renew business licenses, permits, and contracts in Metro Manila.

You will be involved in the documentation for partnerships and legal transactions. Your main goal is to ensure that all documents are in order, checklists are completed, and comply with government requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities: 

The Curriculum and Standards Support Assistant V (CSSA V) assists the Curriculum and Standards Officer (CSO) in the implementation of academic standards and curricular development processes at the graduate level, including updating data in the Student Information System (SIS) and other internal systems and databases as required. Directly reports to the CSO.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support

<ul>
	<li>Logs and conducts initial evaluation of new, revised programs and graduate course proposals for endorsement to the CSO.</li>
	<li>Logs and conducts the initial evaluation of various requests, appeals to the Assistant Vice President for Graduate Education (AVP GradEd) pertinent to graduate students, programs before endorsement to the CSO.</li>
	<li>Monitors the progression of all submitted new, revised programs and course proposals up to implementation in the student information system.</li>
	<li>Manages the Student Information System pertinent to graduate level curriculum and standards in coordination with the CSO.</li>
	<li>Monitors the progression of all filed requests from students, departments, offices up to the release of results.</li>
	<li>Manages database and online portals pertinent to standards and curriculum matters in coordination with the Data and Communications Manager (DCM).</li>
	<li>Prepares data in coordination with the DCM for reports, proposal needs of the CSO.</li>
</ul>

2. Coordination

<ul>
	<li>Assists the CSO in coordinating with concerned departments,programs regarding their curriculum,course proposals and presentations to the school body.</li>
	<li>Assists the CSO in coordinating with concerned offices in the compilation of final curricular documents for submission to CHED. </li>
	<li>Prepares and sends out materials pertinent to curriculum and standards meetings.</li>
	<li>Consults with the DCM for matters pertinent to database and online portal upgrade or revision.</li>
	<li>Coordinates with the DCM regarding data dashboards for inventory reports on approved curricula, course proposals for each school.</li>
	<li>Logs and corresponds to inquiries sent through phone calls, emails or Google chats pertinent to standards and curriculum.</li>
	<li>Coordinates meeting schedules with the Office Manager (OM).</li>

3. Administrative Support

Curriculum and Standards Support Assistant V

The Program Head for Organizational Sustainability is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Organizational Sustainability (OS) Program. The position leads the planning and development of the program which includes research, capacity-building, training, and logistical/administrative directions focusing on integrating sustainability principles into university operations and external entities such as industry, academia, NGOs, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

 
The position supports the University's strategic directions towards sustainability and aligns with AIS’ goals to mobilize knowledge and innovative solutions and to mainstream integral ecology, sustainability, and resilience with institutions and communities.

I. Program Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation

<ul>
	<li>Keeps abreast of local and international trends, standards, and requirements related to organizational sustainability</li>
	<li>Designs, develops, and promotes projects and policies which operationalize select thematic areas of Organizational Sustainability (OS), and evaluates its effectiveness</li>
	<li>Establishes, implements, and evaluates the strategic direction and initiatives of the OS Program in collaboration with the Director of AIS and other program heads</li>
	<li>Develops projects and activities to promote sustainability education</li>

	<li>Generates and presents evaluation reports to track progress, assess outcomes, and provide insights for decision-making and future planning</li>
	<li>Leads the execution of planned research, projects, and workshops, of the OS Program, which includes monitoring the logistical and administrative requirements</li>

II. Stakeholder Engagements and Partnerships

	<li>Establishes connections with stakeholders involved in Organizational Sustainability, and collaborates with partners both within and outside the University</li>

III. Program Management

	<li>Sets the direction of the OS Program and determines its operational goals in alignment with the Office goals, and Cluster mandates</li>
	<li>Oversees the development of policies in the program and provides inputs for the development of general office policies</li>
	<li>Prepares and monitors the program’s budget and expenditures and recommends cost-effective solutions for the Office</li>
	<li>Identifies suitable funding sources and applies for additional grants or funding opportunities when necessary</li>
	<li>Manages the performance of employees in the program by setting standards/targets, monitoring, and evaluating performance, and providing development opportunities</li>
	<li>Contributes to shaping and developing the strategic planning initiatives of the AIS, and to the University</li>
