The Data Manager is the lead responsible in the development and application of data systems, guaranteeing efficient data management, curate data collection methods, and data analysis. They provide guidelines for data exchange, enforce standards, and assist enterprises with data-related problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and implement guidelines for efficient data management.
• Create methods for gathering high-quality data to guarantee that the information is adequate, valid, and dependable.
• Establish and set into effect secure and effective procedures for handling and analyzing data while paying particular attention to all the technical aspects.
• Define guidelines and protocols for presenting data with external stakeholders, top management, etc.
• Advise individuals using data systems on frequently as well as making sure that company and legal standards are followed.
• Provide support for data extraction and reports as required.
• Keep an eye on, investigate, and evaluate information and data systems to identify ways that will enhance their performance (new technologies, developments, etc.).
• Make sure that data loss and breaches of security are prevented from occurring in digital databases and archives.
• Troubleshoot issues pertaining to data and authorize modifications or maintenance.

• A degree holder in BS Computer Science or relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience in data management, 2 years in the managerial role
• Track record of success as a manager particularly in the field of data management
• Outstanding comprehension of data management and administration duties (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.)
• Awareness about current information system and database technologies
• The ability to think analytically and solve problems.
