HÖEGH LNG SERVICES AS is a multinational company organized and existing under the laws of Norway, was duly licensed by this Commission in accordance with the Omnibus Investments Code of 1987, as amended by RA 8756 and its implementing rules and regulations and with a favorable recommendation from the Board of Investments dated August 29, 2018, to establish its Regional Operating Headquarters in the Philippines doing business as Höegh LNG Services ROHQ to: engage in general administration and planning; business planning and coordination; sourcing/procurement of raw materials and components; corporate finance advisory services; marketing control and sales promotion; training and personnel management; logistics services; research and development services and product development; technical support and maintenance; data processing and communication; and business development.

Vessel accountant is responsible for completing monthly, quarterly, and annual close for Operating expenses (OPEX) in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local requirements added to Group’s internal procedures and controls. 

 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

 

Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close (65%)

<ul>
	<li>Responsibility for all accounting entries required for assigned vessels related to OPEX. This includes treatment of vendor and agent invoices, bank transactions, accruals, currency revaluations etc. (10%)</li>
	<li>Prepare related part invoices (recharging of costs internally according to agreements) (5%)</li>
	<li>Intercompany reconciliation (5%)</li>
	<li>Prepare payments (5%)</li>
	<li>Reconciles and records vessel's monthly and quarterly reports (Master Cash Account, Welfare, Slop chest) and ensures completeness of supporting documents (5%)</li>
	<li>Prepares monthly Purchase Order (PO) list showing outstanding committed costs to be reviewed by the Purchaser and Technical Superintendent (5%)</li>
	<li>Upload/file documents to designated folders on the sever (i.e. SharePoint, w:\\felles\) (5%)</li>
	<li>Reconciliations end each reporting period (5%)</li>
	<li>Ensure proper classification, use of IFS account (CoA) and dimensions for OPEX cost (5%)</li>
	<li>Maintain and improve financial reporting and closing routines for the company by working closely with Group Accounting and controlling in Oslo on internal processes, accounting - and internal control issues (5%)</li>
	<li>Provide deviation analysis of YTD numbers versus budget (FYF versus annual budget) for OPEX reporting (5%)</li>
	<li>Work closely with TSIs, procurement, corporate accountants, and Maritime payroll team (5%)</li>
</ul>

Internal control Compliance, Audits, and routine descriptions (20%)

<ul>
	<li>Complete Internal controls (BSR) according to guidelines in GSM (10%)</li>
	<li> Assist external auditor with providing the requirements for Group on OPEX (10%)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Prepares monthly reports for OPEX with Actuals against Budget and forecast (5%)</li>
	<li>Ad hoc tasks to help the team specially in Fleet Management accounting (5%)</li>
	<li>Provide deviation analysis of YTD numbers versus budget (FYF versus annual budget) (5%)</li>
</ul>

Vessel Accountant

The Purchaser will be responsible for the operational purchasing and logistics for the vessel which includes activities such as handling of requisition and orders, logistical services and supplier management.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

	<li>Ensure that every purchase is made competitively without sacrificing the quality</li>
	<li>Ensure that supplier quotes the right quantity as specified in the requisition with the best possible delivery time</li>
	<li>Arrange logistics in the most effective way</li>
	<li>Authorize payment of invoice in accordance to payment terms</li>
	<li>Work in accordance to our procedure and SOX requirements</li>
	<li>Responsible for Business Partner and Vendor Assessment Form</li>
	<li>Ensure suppliers comply with relevant requirements in ISO 9001/14001 and company policies</li>
	<li>Track deliveries and make sure to receive exactly what was order from supplier</li>

Accounting Associate II

The role of an Accounting Analyst serves a dual purpose. The first is to provide administrative support to Corporate Accountants in the Philippines, handling tasks such as preparing voucher documentation, filing, documenting balances during closing routines, basic bookkeeping, paying vendors, invoicing customers, and other ad hoc responsibilities. While these tasks are integral to a Corporate Accountant’s role, this position has been given a distinct title due to the difference in responsibility and the absence of designated entities. The second purpose is to conduct reviews and quality checks on the tasks performed by the Corporate Accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Main Tasks:

	<li>Prepare voucher documentation (workbooks/documentation that is used as a basis for entries in general ledger) in compliance with the internal control requirements</li>
	<li>Documenting balances as part of their quarterly balance sheet reconciliation process</li>
	<li>Various bookkeeping to be done amongst the entities that Corporate Accountants are responsible for.</li>
	<li>Follows up vendor's invoices to be paid on a timely basis and manage vendor request, reminders, and inquiries.</li>
	<li>Prepares or review financial statement before they are distributed to Group Accounting Oslo for final review before being distributed to the Board of Directors.</li>
	<li>Performs analytical reviews of balance sheet items as part of the closing procedures to ensure that no significant items have been omitted or inaccurate.</li>
	<li>Invoicing customers according to internal control requirements. Follow-up of invoices being paid on a timely basis.</li>
