The position holder is responsible for supporting ARI and working together with AP|AEV and external insurance brokers towards the effective acquisition and management of the organization’s non-life insurance programs and other related insurance requirements. 

Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

<ul>
	<li>Lead and/or support the end-to-end procurement, negotiation and management of the insurance requirements of the group; maximization of claims recovery from the insurance policies while minimizing costs and still manage potential risk exposure.</li>
	<li>Lead and/or support insurance related project and financing requirements such as but not limited to lender’s insurance requirements as well as bonds (e.g. performance, surety, etc.) and/or similar guarantee requirements in coordination with the insurance broker.</li>
	<li>Lead and/or support insurance decision making processes with the creation and maintenance of insurance related dashboards, flash reports, forecasting, budgeting, monitoring, documentation and other housekeeping | compliance requirements.</li>
	<li>Ensuring compliance to data privacy of ARI.</li>
	<li>Perform other tasks and responsibilities to support the corporate planning and business performance team deliverables as the need or urgency arises.</li>
</ul>

Insurance, Risk, Premiums and Claims Management 

<ul>
	<li>Lead and/or support in the design and recommends insurance cover requirements of the company, including endorsements for further enhancements in coverage terms and conditions.</li>
	<li>Lead and/or support negotiations with insurance brokers and/or advisers on insurance purchases to maximize coverage at the most cost-effective price.</li>
	<li>Evaluates the cost effectiveness of insurance programs and the quality of service provided by insurance carriers.</li>
</ul>

Insurance Project and Financing Requirements (Bonds and Insurance Due Diligence)

<ul>
	<li>Lead and/or support the end-to-end process of sourcing and engaging lenders insurance advisors to perform insurance due diligence as required by the banks.</li>
	<li>Make sure that lender insurance requirements are submitted to the bank on time and are less restrictive towards the organization in order to make a more risk-based decision on insurance procurement.</li>
</ul>

Insurance Data Analytics, Dashboards and Reporting

<ul>
	<li>Design and maintain insurance related dashboards and flash reports to aid in insurance related decision-making process.</li>
	<li>Provide data gathering, data analytics and recommendations in insurance related decision-making process based on available data.</li>
</ul>

Risk Finance Specialist

The primary purpose of the role is to focus on the details of the projects of the Corporate Finance team in making strategic capital investment decisions.

<ul>
	<li>Prepare and/or review financial models and business valuations to assist operating units in screening and evaluating investment opportunities. This may entail gathering data, working with relevant internal personnel, and assisting external advisers on the preparation of financial models and business valuations.</li>
	<li>Assist the Corporate Finance Managers and /or AVP in providing financial advisory services to various operating units to determine the possible impact of relevant issues on valuation and investment cases. Work streams include conducting research, challenging the validity of assumptions, evaluating the impact of deal structures &amp; financing options, and preparing management reports and presentations</li>
	<li>Work with the Corporate Finance Team and the CSIO to ensure that group-wide financial policies are developed and optimized in a timely manner. This includes gathering of data, researching, and preparing the relevant materials</li>
</ul>

Corporate Finance Analyst

This position is the Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) who is responsible for providing techno-functional support, developing and conducting testing for applications and system updates (including required system quarterly updates) and enhancements, setting up system for new ledgers/legal entities, documenting financial system business processes, conducting training to BU SMEs and end users and facilitating issues resolution with current and other ERP applications.
