Job Description
Air-conditioning Technician is responsible for conducting maintenance check and repairs for Air-con and other cooling or heating system. In-charge with installation, service, and replacement of air-conditioning units or different types of climate-control equipment for both residential and commercial establishments.
Other tasks and responsibilities:
- Review blueprints, install air conditioning systems, and test system for proper functioning.
- Perform emergency repairs, maintain tools, order supplies, and make routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency.
- Record data when inspecting the system, such as the temperature of equipment fuel consumption and hours of operation.
- Recover and properly dispose of refrigerants when servicing air conditioning equipment since refrigerants can be harmful to the environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least (6) months of work experience as an Aircon Technician.
- Can be a graduate of related vocational courses preferably with TESDA Certificate.
- Knowledgeable in ref and aircon, electronics, and plumbing.
- Can work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Able to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
