Job Description

With a strong track record of delivering successful projects, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Accounting Assistant Manager to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our projects while advancing your career in project accounting.

  • Oversees preparation of business activity reports and annual budgets related to Project Accounting Operations.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Prepares ad hoc reporting requirements as needed by management from time to time.
  • Plans, assigns, and reviews tasks of accounting personnel.
  • Conducts weekly meetings for the status of accounts, a reiteration of roles and responsibilities, and company policies and other related matters.
  • Reviews reconciliation of charges related to association dues, parking dues, special assessments, utilities, and other related charges
  • Coordinate with various CAIs and HOAs for reconciliation of association dues, including negotiation on settlement of outstanding dues and incurred interests and penalties
  • Monitors status of endorsement, approval, and release of checks for payment of association dues.
  • Reviews and monitor MR balances of CAIs and HOAs
  • Review and approval of JV Entry and adjustments on charges to CAIs and buyers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a graduate of BSC Major in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • With at least 3 years of work experience in General Accounting, Project Accounting, or Audit
  • Previously held Supervisor or Asst. Manager positions.
  • With experience in project accounting or related roles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
