Production Assistant  

We are looking for an enthusiastic Production Assistant to support all aspects of podcast production. You’ll be an essential part of the team, helping to ensure that each production runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve a range of tasks, from assisting with audio and video recording to helping the crew with post-production work. If you're organized, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in editing podcasts in both audio and video formats, ensuring content is polished and professional.
• Help prepare the set with necessary equipment, props, and ensure the environment is ready for recording.
• Support directors, audio engineers, podcasters, and other crew members during the production process.
• Escort and assist podcasters around the studio, ensuring smooth operations during recordings.
• Assist in basic sound design, audio mixing, and mastering to enhance the final output.
• Collaborate in video editing, cleaning, and cutting video content, as well as mixing and mastering audio.
• Perform quality assurance by spotting and correcting any errors in audio and video files.
• Undertake errands as assigned by the production team to ensure deadlines and schedules are met.

Qualifications:

• Graduating student or recently graduated with a degree related to media production, communications, or a similar field.
• Experience with audio and video editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools).
• Ability to multitask and assist with various production tasks as needed.
• Passion for podcasts, media production, or creative content creation.
• Familiarity with podcast production processes is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (both remote and on-site).
