Host | Hostess  

• Responsible for providing a warm & friendly welcome to the guest.
• Takes table reservations & effectively control the flow of guest in the restaurant ensuring maximum turnover.
• Notifies managers of specific guests' needs & requests.
• Receives guest feedback & monitors satisfaction.
• Maintains & updates the restaurant guest history file.
• Answers all telephone calls & enquiries in an efficient & professional manner.
• Assists the management in maintaining standards.
• Reports any problems in the surroundings (i.e. cleanliness of the floors, tables and service stations. Are all our guests are happy?).
• Performs all opening / running / closing duties.
• Ensures that the host desk & the surrounding areas are always kept clean & well organized.
• Ensures that sufficient number of menus are available at all time & are in proper condition.
• Responsible for catering to the needs of our guests by suggestively selling our food & beverage items.
• Ensures complete understanding of the operation philosophy of each of our restaurants & conveys the same to enquiring customers.
• Shares knowledge of all products i.e. food and drinks.
• Acts as a role model to new Employees by displaying a high level of professionalism & integrity.
• Always informs the manager when leaving the floor for any reason.

• At least High School Graduate
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel dining or casual dining concept.
• Sanitation guidelines & Food handling.
• Hotel & Catering qualifications desirable.
• Excellent Communication and Interaction Skills
