UI/UX Designer Intern  

UI/UX Designer Intern responsibilities include designing graphic elements, and building navigation components, understanding user behaviors, needs and motivations. Working closely with cross-functional teams to conduct research, analyze data and provide actionable insights that drive product development processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital interfaces for websites, mobile apps, or other digital products.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
- Collaborate with UIUX designers and cross-functional teams to implement design solutions.
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.
- Analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement in the user experience.
- Help document design decisions, guidelines, and style guides to ensure consistency in design execution.
- Planning and executing user research studies using various qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g. interviews, surveys, usability testing, analytics) to uncover user insights and preferences.
- Interpret and synthesize research findings, translating raw data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for product teams.
- Develop problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize user experiences.
- Basic knowledge in design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with UI designers, product managers, developers, and other team members to align design goals with business objectives.
- Actively participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies.
- Seek feedback and mentorship from senior designers to improve skills and advance in the field.

Qualifications:
• Within 12 months of completing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Can render a minimum of 480 hours to a maximum of 960 hours of internship
• Deep interest and understanding of User Research, UI/UX Design
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be patient and have a keen eye for detail
• Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with any prototyping tools is a plus (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
• Willing to render internship in the office based set-up (Ortigas Center, Pasig City)
• Internship allowance available
