- Be responsible over the readiness and stability of our systems
- Create and maintain cloud and on premise based infrastructure
- Support and troubleshoot product and infrastructure issues in production environments
- Develop and provide documentation on procedures
- Perform system upgrades following new releases
- Identify automation opportunities to improve operations
- Provide on-call support and monitor the production environment
- Setting up new DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, etc) and infrastructure
- Working on ways to automate and improve release processes
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Planning out and being involved in projects and agile cross-functional product-oriented teams.
- Research and implement new technology such as service mesh, and other internal tools required by team
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- At least 2 year of experience using Kubernetes
- Experience using different kinds of platforms which provides Cloud Service such as Azure, GCP, AWS.
- Good exposure in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog
- Good exposure to DevOps technologies and tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Helm
- Have a good knowledge of Agile DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code Concepts.
- Have a good fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes, Container, CI/CD, and Linux along with the scripting.
- Excellent teamworking and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time .
- Experience in Ruby, Golang, and Graylog is a plus
- Ability to work odd hours in order to maintain our system’s health 24/7
- Strong communication skills in order to collaborate effectively with engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds and priorities
