We’re searching for a creative and detail-oriented Associate Content Editor to support our editorial team and help shape the voices of our diverse clients. You’ll work closely with content creators, account managers, and other team members to ensure every piece of content is engaging, clear, and aligned with our clients' goals. In this collaborative role, you'll ensure that content flows seamlessly across platforms, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
What Will You Do?
- Assist in overseeing the editorial process for various client accounts, ensuring all content meets brand guidelines and communication goals.
- Review, edit, and optimize content such as blog posts, social media copy, press releases, website content, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with writers and account managers to develop content strategies that drive client success.
- Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and execution of editorial projects.
- Provide feedback to writers, helping to improve their skills while maintaining content quality.
- Track content performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with content trends, SEO practices, and developments in digital media and communications.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content.
- Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in content editing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of content best practices and editorial processes.
- Familiarity with managing editorial calendars and content workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with content management systems and social media platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data to improve content strategies.
- Knowledge of PR and digital communication strategies.
- Awareness of emerging trends in digital media, social media, and public relations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
