Compliance Officer  

He or She reports to, and performs work under the supervision of, the Compliance Group Head and the Chief Legal Counsel. His/her primary duty is to ensure compliance within an organization, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures. He/she ensures timely submission of reports by the company and its subsidiaries/affiliates to government regulatory bodies.

• Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
• Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
• Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
• Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
• Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
• Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
• Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
• Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
• Willing perform any other tasks implemented by immediate head.
