About the Role

The Operations Specialist Branch Support Center Maker shall form part of the Branch Support Center which provides strategic and administrative support to the Branch Banking Group, particularly on the “Run-The- Bank” activities in the branches.

This role is essential in overseeing critical administrative tasks at our branch, primarily focusing on KYC alerts monitoring, transaction monitoring and STR reporting. They play a significant role in maintaining our commitment to regulatory compliance and ensuring integrity of our banking operations.

The BSC Maker should possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional multitasking skills, and should have a keen eye for detail, enabling them to manage alert processing efficiently while fostering a compliant and customer-centric environment.

How you’ll contribute

  • Attends to customer inquiries via phone or email in a professional manner.
  • Thoroughlyreviewsandanalyzescustomerdocumentsprocessedinviewofthetask assigned.
  • Pro-activelycollaborateswithvariousteamstoensuretimelyresolutionoftasks.
  • Fast/Quick and executes proper encoding of necessary in formation in the systems.
  • Keen & organized in the Monitoring of open and pending tasks assigned
  • Attends to meeting/ huddle alignments involving the assigned task/deliverables/projects
  • Participate / engages in projects of the unit as well as Operations Group initiatives through contribution of ideas, process improvement, upto actions and implementations as needed.
  • Assess risk levels associated with customers and their transactions
  • Document findings, decisions, and follow-up actions clearly and accurately

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of any bachelor's degree

  • With 1 - 4 years of experience

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using bank systems, applications and tools related to the function (e.g CRM, FBEQ, B60 etc)

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.

  • Highlymotivatedandbeabletoworkindependentlywithlittlesupervision

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as but not limited to: KYC, AML practices, transaction monitoring and STR reporting

  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex data
