Job Summary:
The Accounting Officer is entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating and furnishing comprehensive and precise information to our External Tax Team. The primary duty is to ensure the accuracy of BIR returns filed by the External Tax Team, thereby ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory tax obligations. Additionally, he/she is also tasked with overseeing non-BIR compliances and preparing the company for audits
Duties and responsibilities:
- Reviewing data extracted from Acumatica to be provided to the External Tax Team.
- Liaising with the External Tax Team on matters pertaining to tax concerns.
- Maintaining and organizing both electronic and hardcopy tax and compliance records.
- Collaborating with internal/external stakeholders and relevant government agencies to facilitate transactions for non-BIR compliances.
- Conducting financial reviews and reconciliations of books in preparation for year-end audit.
- Providing support in general accounting activities.
- Conducting analysis on financial issues and offering recommendations to enhance financial systems
Kualifikasi Minimum
Minimum qualifications
- Open to fresh graduates, particularly those with a degree in Accountancy.
- For graduates of Finance-related courses, a minimum of one year of relevant experience in tasks similar to those outlined above.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in oral and written communication.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of Accounting principles.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in time management and prioritization.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
