- Utilising experience across multiple technologies to take substantial features from concept to shipping as the sole programmer. or leading a small team of developers, with planning awareness.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Ruby on Rails, and maintain coding standards and guidelines to ensure high-quality products.
- Coach, mentor and at times, lead junior developers and developers to increase their understanding, impact and capability, including pair programming and code review.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies and industry trends to improve the development process and keep the team on the cutting edge of full-stack development.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to breakdown business requirements into technical tasks.
- Experience working on web applications, REST APIs, queues, and other infrastructures around it.
- Familiarity with OOP and/or imperative design patterns.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails. Another bonus is if you are familiar with type systems or have experience working with a typed language such as C# or Typescript.
- Familiarity with modern Javascript UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience working with relational databases, able to design an effective storage schema while keeping the access patterns of the data in mind.
- Comfortable writing tests for the code you write.
- Excellent communications skills and eager to learn.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
