Shoppable Business is looking for a creative Content Editor to plan, coordinate, edit, and publish content such as social media posts, long-form blogs, 10X articles, video scripts, and any form of marketing copy to promote Shoppable Business products and services.

You will be working together with writers and designers in the marketing team to plan & execute engaging content marketing strategies for our audience.

In the Content Editor role, you will be responsible for content quality assurance of other writers, researching, proofreading, and publishing content both on our social media platforms and website.

Shoppable Business helps startups, brands, and small, medium, and large businesses get online. Shoppable is enabling eCommerce through our specialized marketplaces, logistics infrastructure, financial products, and eCommerce tools.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and typographical errors.
• Verify content and information.
• Content research
• Collaborate with the marketing team and come up with fresh, creative content ideas targeted to our audience
• Manages and update social media accounts and websites
• Educate content writers with best practices

Requirements:

• Six years and up Experience in editing and writing content
• Tech-savvy with an understanding and knowledge of Social Media, SEO, and WordPress
• Writing, copy editing, and proofreading experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Needs to have a strong creative portfolio
• Experience in SEO and eCommerce is a plus
