Job Description
- Create detailed 3D models of event spaces in SketchUp
- Design stage backdrops, seating layouts, and other venue decorations in SketchUp
- Develop and present design concepts to clients
- Adjust designs based on client feedback and requirements
- Produce technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with internal fabrication team and external vendors and contractors to implement designs
- Check the quality of fabrication is consistent with designs
- Manage project timelines and ensuring readiness for events
- This is a full-time and on-site position. This is not a WFH set up.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Proficiency in SketchUp: Strong command of SketchUp for creating 3D models.
- Familiarity with related software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong artistic skills and creativity in designing models
- High level of precision in modeling and design
- Knowledge of construction techniques and building materials
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with best practices in event design
- Strong portfolio of previous SketchUp projects
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Experience in event design, architectural visualization, interior design, or a similar field is a plus
