Job Description
The position is responsible for supporting the generation business of AboitizPower through providing technical support in defending the power supply agreement and point-to-point applications necessary for ERC filings through coordination with internal or external partners.
Regulatory Rules and Regulations

Reviews, monitors, and analyzes various rules, protocols, regulations, and resolutions of ERC and other relevant government agencies that may impact the generation business of AboitizPower

Represents the company in assigned external energy entities
ERC Application
- Manages the preparation and submission of ERC applications such as but not limited to Point-to-Point and Ancillary Services agreement, filing, proposals, and reports
Contract Monitoring
- Monitors the implemented PSA to ensure that all are in accordance with the approved ERC regulations
Performance and People Management
- Establishes team goals, objectives, and individual assignments to attain business goals of the unit
- Monitors and evaluates individual and team performance against set targets and KPIs
- Initiates action plans to address concerns and improves existing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the unit
- Participates in the screening and selection processes of qualified individuals to be hired by the unit
- Provides feedback to team members regarding their performance
- Ensures that team members attend training and capability building activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics or Finance or equivalent.
- At least 2 years experience in the power industry and experience in coordinating with DOE, ERC and various industry stakeholders
- At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role with executive potential; with experience in participating in working groups performing technical or financial analysis
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
