Operation Technology | Cyber Security Specialist  

Position Summary:

This position will act as support to the OT Expert as the technical bridge between the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and all the Generation business units. The position will be responsible in OT Cybersecurity initiatives and implement OT Cybersecurity standards among business units, OT CS troubleshooting, OT CS Guideline Monitoring & Compliance and Cyber Security programs by proactively managing and delivering technical expertise to all power plant sites and business units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contributes to overall efforts in enhancing OT Cybersecurity asset management practices through OT CS Guideline Training & Monitoring across the AboitizPower Generation Fleet.
• Participates in OT Asset Management process with regard to the planning for OT Cybersecurity related hardware and software installations.
• Implements, review and contributes in the Aboitiz Power Generation OT Cybersecurity Governance and Guideline standardization programs.
• Analyzes governance and current OT cybersecurity maturity posture of all power plants.
• Reports on OT Cybersecurity posture updates of power plants with reference to the NIST maturity index.
• Conducts periodic security compliance reports aligned to the organization's OT Minimum Security Standards.
• Provides troubleshooting and resolving of occurring operational issues in power plant OT Cybersecurity systems.
• Leads the conduction of the RCA investigation activities with non-bias techniques to support in resolving generation affecting site issues.
• Oversee cybersecurity incidents and concerns from detection to resolution.
• Conducts POC (Proof of Concept) with internal AboitizPower Generation clients and external contractors/vendors to determine the best fit OT cybersecurity solutions.
• Handles the project execution, proper operation and maintenance of all installed OT Cybersecurity solutions.
• Maintains and expands working knowledge of OT cybersecurity products and strategies.
• Provides training and support on the installed Cybersecurity systems and applications across AP GEN fleet.
• Leads COAL BU OT/IT representatives in attaining skills development programs for OT Cybersecurity knowledge.

• Bachelor's degree in any course related to Electrical Engineering, Instruments and Controls, Computer Science or other Operational Technology related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in Operational Technology (preferably Cyber Security) of a Power Plant and/or related industry.
• At least 2 years of project leadership and 3 years of project execution experience.
• Preferably with knowledge in MS Exchange, IIS, and SQL.
• Preferably and Engineering board passer
• Preferably a member of relevant Professional Institution.

• Knowledge in Cloud Technology
• Knowledge of MS Windows and Active Directory
• Knowledge of Anti-malware, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Data Loss Protection, Endpoint Encryption, File Integrity Monitoring, Email and Web Gateway Security, Email Encryption, SysLog, and SIEM products Experience with VMware, vCenter, and VDI
• Experience working with various Microsoft software and systems
• Experience in network infrastructure (routing, switching, edge firewalls, load balancing)
• Strong understanding of power generation process and performance improvements.
• Self-starter and quick learner with desire to continually learn new tools and technologies.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface with a diverse set of clients including administrators and C-level executives.
