Job Description
- The position is responsible for the maintenance and safety measures of the power plan electrical, instrumentaion and control equipment in accordance with the guidance, instruction and direction of the Maintenance Manager.
- The position is also responsible for the supervision of the design and installation of plant electrical systems and equipment ensuring reliability, maximum efficiency and safety in operations.
- Acts as support on the electrical requirements of the Operations Department and does special project requirements.
- Analyzes temperature, insulation and electrical tests by monitoring condition of the main generators in order to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Modifies and drafts procedures for power restoration during total black out and island mode operations as needed as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Prepares the electrical monthly report such as major preventive maintenance schedules, unusual activities for the approval of the Maintenance Manager.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical or Electronics Engineer.
- With at least 5 years related experience in power industry.
- With at least 2-3 years of leadership experience.
- With knowledge and experience with high voltage electrical equipment function, risk and maintenance.
- With ability to read electrical and control diagrams
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
